Hehehe, well the Zodd was way more believable than the Guts. But it was a good effort anyway in the character creator.

I think both were close enough. Funny stuff.

Just bought this game. It's cool i guess but I'm a little confused. I've never played a sould calibur game before ( I played lots of tekken though) and I'm having trouble understanding the gameplay. The fighting isn't all that difficult and the story modes are very short and very easy. Is that all there is to this game?

The last one I owned was 2 for the gamecube, the thing I loved most was the weapon customization. Oburi from what I heard I'd recommend playing the Tower of Souls it provides most of the replay besides online multiplayer. Another thing that I've heard is that Yoda is really broken, to the point that he's really hard to hit and impossible to grab.

i made my own guts and it came out a lot better than that guys... however, still not perfect... i had to go proto guts and give him the eyepatch... online play is frickin great... i was up til 5am this morning playing as psuedo proto guts and tearing through people...

to oburi: the true gameplay lies in playing friend of decent skill and playing online... i find this game way more complex and entertaining than any of the tekkens...

I hate the "bustier is better" mentallity. I just care about the mechanics, damn it. Anyway, SCIII was a humongous letdown for me, so I'm very wary of SCIV. It does have the magical "IV" in the title, though, so it can't be bad. Still, 60 green paper George Washington's are about 30 more that I'd want to. How is the online component, by the by?

Well, it's getting great reviews online and it looks like it fixes everything SCIII did wrong. Id definitely buy it if I had a next-gen system.

I heard on X-Play that the game is too fast for online play, unless you have a T1+ connection..

Lots of people have been bitching about the online component (haven't tried it yet). But it's much better than part 3.

I'm seriously loving this game now. I quit the story mode and started playing arcade mode and the Tower ascention/descention thing, which was way more difficult but in a fun way. And the character editor is very addicting. I sat there for an hour just trying to give one guy the best possible combination of armour and items. It's very overwhelming at first but I know I'll be spending way too much time with it until I have unlocked everything possible (achievements included).

Oh they arent mine, dude on Neogaf. I have a Guts I made but I dont have pic of him. There is also a Black Swordsman in that thread somewhere that is pretty good too.

The custom characters make the game so much fun. Especially when you go online with them. I was playing with the Guts the other night and lost a round, the next person came up (you can set it up like an arcade, winner stays), and the dude pops out Sailor Moon and wrecks some shit, i laughed my ass off.

I like your zodd a lot! I wonder if there is a more suitable face though. Other than that, the costume and skin tone is perfect. For your Griffith, I think I actually like the 1st one the most. 2nd one 2nd, and the 3rd one I think is too elaborate (esp the shoulder pads). All in all, great job!

The problem for the face of Zodd is no one is close to the original so i choose the largest face.

For Griffith it's difficult for now i have 3 different opinion, each one for a different model lool. So i need more opinion please Personally i hesitate between the first and second too. I really love the shoulders of the second but there is no wing at his left shoulder. The first one can make illusion but in reality it's not a wing and the right armor shoulder disappear.

Bless your heart Pesmerga for doing suikoden2. The memories you just instilled in me when I saw Riou and Jowy. They are so perfect. And blue lighting FLick is right on! I imagine Victor wouldn't be all that hard. He's probably very similar to Zodd. Thats seriously way cool though. Do Gremio! Are you taking requests?
