Hey guys, I'm doing some research on Niccolo Machiavelli. Trouble is, I can't find much information about his childhood(Nearly anything before 1498 really). So, if anyone knows anything or can offer some guidance, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

That's because only few details are available about his childhood and youth in general AFAIK, nothing precise. So unfortunately I don't think you'll be able to find anything more than what you have if you researched it already.

Like Aaz said, not much is known. Here's some info you may or may not have digged up yet, paraphrased from the preface of my copy of "the prince":

May 1469 - born in Florence
November 1481 - begins to attend Paolo da Ronciglione's school
Late 1480ies - possibly attended lectures by Marcello Adriani at the University of Florence

after that it skips to the chancellor bit.
