Humble Indie Bundle 9, you can like in previous bundles pay what you want and if you pay over the average you'll get additional games and you'll also get the soundtrack for select games. The games in this bundle are Trine 2: The Complete Story, Mark of the Ninja, Eets Munchies Beta and Brütal legend, and if you were to pay over the average you'll get FTL: Faster Than Light and FEZ.

P.S. I almost forgot, there will be games that will be added later on and you'll automatically get them as long as you had payed over the average.

Sure, you get to summon guys like Solaire to aid you in big boss encounters. Other than that, I think I read once that there are some stat-related bonuses, but after doing a quick Google search, I couldn't verify that.

I played 99% of my game hollowed, and had an enjoyable experience. The few times I would kindle a bonfire as human and then trek out on a quest, some asshole would invade, and I would get ganked by Wrath of God. Fuuuuun :schierke:

He can also get invaded by certain NPC which upon death drops certain armor sets and weapon like Maneater Mildred, Paladin Leeroy and Kirk, Knight of Thorns.

I have seen other pic from the aftermath and I hope guys are ok.

I usually avoid things coming out of the RPG Codex but this article regarding the recent fiasco with quite well known gaming journalists taking part in an advertisement for a videogame so they could join a contest to win a free PS3 at an event celebrating journalistic quality, after some other writers rushed to point out the stupidity in it they ended up getting getting their peers snapping at them with excuses such as "It was a hashtag, not an advert. Get off the pedestal" and one of the defenders(who also is a gaming journalist) turned out to be a person who had a ringing endorsement for the new Tomb Raider game and after some digging turned out to be working for Square Enix and that wasn't even the whole fiasco.

Here is the whole article:

Ornstein & Smough -- beat them on my very first attempt. My heart is still pounding. What a fight!  :mozgus:

Nice :ganishka:, I remember that cool sense of relief you get when you beat them for the first time btw Join the Darkwraith Covenant for PvP and since you're going with a Dex build you would end up doing great against most folks and it's a great way to get "liquid" Humanity(the ones that aren't in your inventory) :beast:. My tips for you are that you learn counter backstabs, parry+riposting and master the art of (t)rolling and you won't have any sort of problems against anyone but spammers(Wrath of The Gods or Pursuers for PtD edition) and Hackers :femto:.

I'm playing Dark Souls on PC where I just joined the Darkwraith covenant  and after that I went to Anor Londo and started stomping people who were on their way to Ornstein and Smough, and as always I really don't care if the host has summoned phantoms as it just means more souls and humanity(sometimes) for me :beast:. I remember facing 3 dudes one were spamming spells and the other pyromancies while the host tried to bumrush me with a lightning Uchigatana(I counter backstabbed him twice but man did he have some HP) and they ended up stomping me of course :ganishka:.

Yeah, the time commitment is holding me back more than the money, and funny you should mention Dark Souls, because that's just what I'm looking at on Steam right now. :zodd:

Get the retail version unless you're waiting for a steam sale since the retail version(it includes the OST CD, poster, artbook, behind the scene CD and postcards(?)) has much more even though they are both basically priced the same and their is an optional steam activation on the retail version. So if you are a dude who likes the extra fluff then I will totally recommend getting the retail version.

I preordered my PC version quite some time ago and I still haven't got it but I'm pretty sure it will be tomorrow and for those of you who already have the PC version or are planning to get it on their PC, I really recommend you getting Durantes Dark Souls fix as it not only unlocks the locked(it renders it at 1024x768 no matter what resolution you choose) framebuffer(?) and forces the game to render on at least 1080(if you get at anyhere more then that then the game will be supersampled or something like that, I'm not quite sure on what it is called). It also adds 16AF(Antisotropic Filtering for those who don't know), there is also a way to add MSAA if you are using an Nvidia graphicscard but then you will have to use the Nvidia controlpanel and register the game as skyrim or something.

P.S. It also adds Depth of Field in the newest version of Durantes fix.

Here is a video on how it might look.

Here is an ingame screenshot.

This reminds me so much of when we learned that Obama's trip to India cost $200 billion or when we found out that 10% of all Muslims were terrorists. The lies are so much more entertaining when they have numbers behind them.
Wow, that must have been one hell of a trip. :ganishka:

While we are on the topic of copyright laws, it seems that the EU Trade Committee turned down the international version of SOPA which is known as ACTA(Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement) but the decision of whether it will be rejected or not lies with the European Parliament. British MEP (Member of the European Parliament) David Martin led the Committee during this decision. "This was not an anti-intellectual property vote. This group believes Europe does have to protect its intellectual property but ACTA was too vague a document," he said.

Oliver North is selling Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 -

From what I've had read this guy seems to be quite the douchebag with Iran-Contra affair and I'm wondering why Activision even had him on their commercials, and just when I thought Activision couldn't stoop lower.

I would love to coop with someone as I only need to coop two more times (and defeated the area boss of course) to join the sunbros (Warrior of Sunlight) covenant but it seems that everytime i put down a sign no matter where I can't join someone else's world only time it worked where at The Gravelord Nito's place and I have tried at other bosses too. By the way I play on Xbox (Gamertag: Rarasec) and my Soullevel is 75.

Oh sorry my bad, my build have been somewhat of a hybrid one which primarily focuses on the melee stats (Vit, End and Str) while also going for Faith and Int. The closest class in usual RPGs I can come up with would be a spellsword, my playstyle has mainly been a melee one where I occasionally use spells/miracles/pyromancies and lightning/fire/magic weapons depending on the bosses and the enemies weaknesses.

I have for the most of the time throughout the game been using Ring of Favor and Protection and while using other rings depending on the situation and the thing I would like to do in NG+ is continue being a spellsword and being able to use high poise armor like the stone armor.

P.S. I won't do PvP that much with this character so is there some things I should ignore while going for a full PvE build.

I'm about to finish the game as I only have three main bosses left being The Four Kings, Seath The Scaleless and Gwyn and I'm wondering if there is somethings I should do before starting NG+.

I personally don't like GFWL and I avoid games using it but Dark Souls is an exception for me, I honestly hope the port is good. Here is a petition for a non-GFWL Dark Souls (Although it could need a change in the wording since it reads like an ad for Steam):

Guys it has been confirmed that Dark Souls is on its way to the PC, the PC version is also getting both gamepad support (a must have if you ask me) and two new bosses.

Look at the lower right corner.

I know this doesn't really count as a sale and I thought it would be better to post it in the digital distribution thread then make a whole new topic but anyways Fallout 1 is free on GOG for the next 48 hours(probably less by now).

Anyways this pic is so full of win.

Thanks for the reply.  I haven't gotten my PC yet but I'm looking forward on playing it.  I heard that the 360 version will have a bunch of added content but I'm still planning on getting the original.

Apparently if you already have the PC version or if you buy it before the release date of The Witcher 2: The Enhanced Editon than you will automatically get it for free.
