Castlevania Adventure: Rebirth came out today for Wii Ware:

If I find time tonight, I'll download it and post my impressions.

Please do, I've been waiting for impressions from someone I could trust.

I went to dinner with my grandpa and an assortment of aunts/uncles/cousins. Got a new camera, some money, SOCKS AND UNDERWEAR AWW YEAH!, and some nice shirts so far. Think I might watch Tokyo Godfathers tonight before bed.

Socks and underpants are those things you need to live!
Tokyo Godfathers huh? I think the only Christmas movie I own is Die Hard.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Capcom was handing out E-Tanks today.

What kind of dorks drive while listening to Mega Man music? Oh that's!

I hate Capcom Unity for missing out on their Mega Man 9 press kits. I'll be trying to snag one for this game for sure.

This is a day one purchase for me. I was kind of upset when my Mega Man 9 file got erased but that's a good excuse to put another 30 hours into it.

Has anyone picked it up yet? It's been getting mixed reviews and I wanted to hear a SKers opinion on it. I'm forced to buy the dulled down PS2 version next month.

Just about everyone's stumbled across Ventrillo pranks in their YouTube treks. But this guy, VentertainMe, takes them to a whole new level of "HAWWSOMME!" He joins Vent servers in progress (usually WoW games) and records players talking, then plays them back to confuse and mock everyone in the room. Then he'll mix them into a song and play them for everyone -- usually that's around the point the room stops hating and starts loving it.

He's done many, many sessions, and there are a few duds of course, but these two had me seriously crying with laughter:

Dropped your pants?

I love this one because the guys are so confused and entertained by the whole thing. Another one of my favorites is Dr. Franklin Ruehl.

Anyone try out the Peace Walker demo yet? Very good stuff, cool presentation, but the S-ranking the boss level is a bitch!

Haha, that's the most awkward pic I've ever seen Walter. I didn't know Kurt and Charles met, perhaps things would have turned out differerntley if Kurt would have followed the ways of Barkley? Probably not, he's probably on about 10 dimes of heroin in that pic. Everytime I see Barkley I think of a cartoon where he makes guest appearances and all the characters don't pay attention to him. Whenever he talks owls start hooting then he walks away with his shoulders slumped. Damn what was it?

Shootin' the Breeze / Re: What my boss doesn't know...
« on: November 11, 2009, 06:17:20 PM »
My boss used to leave at 5pm which left me open to a lot of videogame playing. I used to only play when I'd work night shift, one week I put in 30 hours of Fire Emblem on GBA at work. I ended up having to reset most of the time so it was about 5 hours of progress, I hated that game! But yeah, if a lot of you guys remember when I used to work night shift I'd be up all night in the chat room with you. I miss the good old days.

Edit: Oh, and my boss didn't know I slept with 3 of the Mental Health Counselors.

I REALLY miss those days.

I've been a fan of the industrial scene for several years and FLA was one of the first bands I got into along with Skinny Puppy and industrial rock bands like Ministry, Nine Inch Nails etc. Not sure how controversial it is, but I prefer their newer output over their older albums. Lately I've been listening to Flavor of the Weak, which was the album where they started to experiment with drum'n bass- beats and more electronic sounds. The opening track - "Corruption" - is my all-time favorite song by them. Then I heard Millennium which, unfortunately is clearly their weakest album. Totally failed attempt to make industrial metal. :judo:

BTW: My favorite track on Tactical N.I. is "Gun".

Gun is an amazing track! When I seen them live everyone in the front row was pounding their fist to the opening drum beat, we almost brought the stage down. And speaking of Skinny Puppy, they played here last night and I missed them! Wow, I'm the opposite of you, I LOVE Millenium (Liquid Seperation and Surface Patterns!) and can't stand Flavor of the Weak. I will admit I do pop it in from time to time to hear the first track. Good to see someone else on here who has great taste in music, cheers to you!

JVC X-Eye?! Awesome! I've got a SegaCD in my bedroom and have been playing Sylpheed, and then sometimes I'll play Ranger-X and S&K. LOVE me some Sega games!

Aw man, you gotta throw away Sylpheed and grab Lords of Thunder or Android Assault! Ranger X is really good though.

Yeah my X-Eye is my favorite system that I own and I plan on doing an S-Video Mod real soon. Glad the Sega shmups are still appreciated!

Thanks for the head's up, was looking for that the other day. I still recommend the shorter Monster Madness videos though, Cemetery Man is another eye opener if you haven't heard of it:

Or for Tales of the Crypt fans:

I love the Monster Madness vids, they were the reason I did the Invisible Man thing for Halloween. I would have never watched so many great horror movies last month without seeing his videos. Cemetary Man is next on the list. Halloween isn't over for me!

November is Handsome's Megadrive madness month!

I've been busting robot ass with Madison and Crystal in Trouble Shooter, and kicking some medieval keister in Elemental Master and Wings of Wor. Does anyone have any Genesis/Megadrive shmups they'd like to part with? My JVC X-Eye can play them all! Just biding my time until someone buys me the GOTY edition of Fallout 3 for my birthday/Christmas.

I got a chance to play Tekken 6 last night at Frys, very fun game. Not really into 3d fighters but I had a great time playing it. The thing I like most was the end boss theme. I was playing as some cute robot girl who was kind of a cross between Machine Girl and She the Ultimate Weapon. After 10 tries I finally beat the crystal Egyptian dinosaur.

Come to think of it, was I really at Frys last night or is this some sort of loose recollection of a fever dream?

I've been going through a gallon a day of skim milk, my favorite stuff in the world.

I've been feeling very depressed and angsty lately so what better album than...

The 2 disc special edition of Downward Spiral comes with a lot of unreleased stuff to further make you miserable, a very smart purchase!

And I also beg all of you to check out Front Line Assembly's Tactical Neural Implant, still my favorite industrial album of all time. Very Sci-Fi themed, lots of Terminator, Robocop, and Alien samples if you got a keen ear. I recommend this album so much if I had some sort of income right now I'd buy it for the first person that PM'd me. When I get a job I'll live up to my offer.

Be sure to check out my favorite track, Bio-Mechanic. It's a wonderful song.

Hehe, funny topic. I actually used white out on a few Dark Horse volumes a couple years back. It took me three hours but I fixed those volumes up nicely.
