Nah some people are just wierd, i dont think it's his love for Berserk, it might be the way his mind perceives it, it could of been something he hated and still had a dream about it

Haha, well, sure, I guess you can call me weird.  But everyone has their idiosyncrasies don't they?

Anyways, it's probably not because of my "love" for Berserk, even though I do love Berserk.  It's my favorite story/manga/anime.  But like I said, I do tend to have vivid and crazy dreams at times.  And I often read the manga before I sleep... and lately I've been watching that PS2 trailer every night, drooling for it to hurry up and come out so I can play it =P.

But yeah, seeing how no one else seems to have had a dream about God Hand and all, maybe I am a freak...  :-[

So... last night, for the 2nd time, I had a dream about God Hand... and I'm not talking about some cool Berserk dream where Guts was kicking ass... but both times I had a NIGHTMARE about God Hand and the Apostles (with no Guts around to help) and it was vividly horrifying.

The 1st time I was one of the ones being sacrificed and literally, there were people all around me being torn apart by Apostles.  The ground and the walls were also just a bunch of faces/heads, as they were in the Eclipse.  I was basically running away the entire dream, trying not to get eaten or slaughtered... and it was fu*king crazy.  I don't know how to describe it to make it sound as terrible as it was, but just try to keep in mind, these weren't animated looking drawings of monsters or people... but they were like real monsters as if you were to see them in reality.

Last night, however, the dream was a bit different.  This time, I was the one that summoned God Hand and its followers, and it was 10 times as freaky.  After the Beherit opened its face, I could hear these voices and this force wrapped around my body so I could barely breathe/move.  During this time, I started to feel immense guilt because everyone around me were my friends and family.  And then when I told all of them to run and hide, some sort of weird hellish chanting began and the wall/ground of faces appeared.

The suspense of waiting for the God Hand and the Apostles to appear was incredible.  I thought I was going to hyperventilate and die because I REALLY WAS SCARED.  I also started having flashbacks of the 1st dream I had and all those images/sounds popped into my head of people screaming and crying and I really didn't want to go through it again...

When God Hand arrived as well as the Apostles, I saw my friends and family being killed/raped... and it was the most traumatic thing ever...  Everything felt and looked so real and the sheer presence of such higher demonic beings really took force over my body.  The entire time I was shivering and I couldn't do a thing.

Anyways... I just thought I'd share and to see if anyone else had similar experiences.  I'm not a freak or anything, haha.  And I don't have any pent up rage against my friends and family.  I do tend to have pretty vivid and wild dreams, but these God Hand dreams were quite disturbing.  I am, however, an obssessed and die-hard Berserk fan... I guess maybe too much for my own good...

The dreams, though, somewhat changed my outlook on Berserk, because whenever I read Berserk, and whenever I see all those gruesome images of torture and rape, I stop and think about it for a while, and I let the visions sink in... and yeah, it's heavy stuff, and it gets to me... but I've never really tried picturing it as if I were living in the Berserk world... and if I was just a poor villager with no real power or skill with the sword.

It really is a horrific thing.

.................. WOW ...................

WOWWWW.... that was just breathtaking!!!

DAMN... I can't wait another month for the game.  I want it now!

Anyways, thanks for posting the video and hosting it too.  U rock! =)

Haha =).  I'm selling cuz either I have two of them, or cuz I have a limited variant. =P.  Believe me, I'm NEVER gonna sell my other Berserk statues.  Even if I'm starving and homeless, I'll hold on to them with my life!

By the way, the "Black Swordsman" statue has been sold.  So, the ONLY ONE left is:

***The Griffith Millenium Falcon Exclusive Horseriding Statue w/ Brown Rakshas****

If all goes like planned, I'll put it, as well as a few other things on ebay this Monday.

Berserk Merchandise / Re: Berserk Premium Box Preorder
« on: August 19, 2004, 09:42:04 PM »
Do any of you know whether or not the "branded box" (as in the BOX itself), is going to be anything worth keeping?  Like, will it be a special metal ps2 dvd case, of some sort?  Or will it be just some cardboard box thingy to hold the action figure in, in which will probably be disposable after opening?

The reason why I ask is because if the box itself, is some limited edition packaging/casing, I suppose it'll be worth it for me to spend the extra $40-50.  Otherwise, I think I can pass on the action figure.  Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Anyone know anything about the limited edition Branded Box?

I emailed ART OF WAR about this, because they seem to be doing a joint promotion with Sammy.  Here is what ART OF WAR said:

Sammy`s Co., Ltd will release PlayStation 2 Berserk by 7 October. Customers who pre-order PlayStation 2 Berserk in the shops, are able to pre-order action figure Black Swordsman Millenium Falcon (Red Eye) as well. Mini figure Zodd will be presented to customers.

In brief, Sammy `s Co., Ltd is now organizing a campaign to promote Play Station 2 Berserk by following 3 ways.

1. Customers who pre-order Play Station 2 Berserk will be presented with Zodd mini figure.

2. Customers who pre-order Play Station 2 Berserk, are also able to pre-order Black Swordsman Millenium Falcon (Red Eye). It is action figure. Also, they will be presented with Zodd mini figure.

3. Customers who pre-order Play Station 2 Berserk and purchase Volume 27 of Berserk comics, are able to apply for lucky draw by using the enclosed coupon. The gift of lucky draw is Black Swordsman: Attack Form statue. It is featured with red eye & blood splashing version. Also, it is the original version of artificial colouring.

Please note that the campaign above is executed within Japan only. It does not apply to overseas. Mini figure of Zodd as gift is of limited quantity too.

We hope the above information can help you.

Thank you very much.

Yours sincerely,

Kaon Chin

Sounds interesting.  But, if the only thing that is different is a Zoddo mini figure, that's a lot of money for that figure!  I like the idea of a "branded box" though, whatever that means.

I found on yahoo auction japan a bloody guts in attack form.  It's at
But to bad they don't ship internationally.

Yeah, I've been eyeing that one myself =P.  The last bloody attack form one went for about 36000 yen I think, and there's another one buy-it-now for 40000 yen.  Seems to get more expensive everyday. =(

Berserk Merchandise / Selling statues for only ONE more week...
« on: August 07, 2004, 03:31:17 PM »
Hey everyone,

Surprisingly, I still have several statues left.  I guess either most of the people here at skullknight already have them or just don't like statues, because I KNOW everyone here likes Berserk! =P

Well, as I said in the original post, I'm broke and I need the money, so I'm going to start putting the leftover statues on ebay in about a week or so.  Meaning, if you want to snag them here on skullknight, please do so.

In short, here are the statues left:

- Griffith Millenium Falcon, Horse Riding statue (EXCLUSIVE version with extra statue - Rakshas)
- Guts, The Black Swordsman (original japanese release)
- Guts, Attack Form (swinging sword)
- Guts, Hawk Soldier (red cape, domestic release)
- Griffith, Hawk Soldier (blue hair, domestic release)

In all honesty, those first 3 statues I listed are super rare, especially the Griffith MF Horse EXCLUSIVE version.

For prices or questions, PM me, or AIM me (DirectDK).  I can be flexible on some statues.  Maybe we can work something out.

Another update:

The Griffith Millenium Falcon on Horseback - LIMITED edition, WITHOUT Rakshas has been sold.

However, the Griffith MF on Horseback - LIMITED edition WITH Rakshas is still AVAILABLE!

You know you want it! =P

Thanks Sparnage, for plugging my post =).

But yes, Griifisu, in my opinion the Griffith Millenium Falcon Horseback is worth paying $219 for.  ART OF WAR makes great statues and spends lots of time hand painting and designing them.

However, if you are interested in the Limited Edition version of this statue, I have 2 for sale.  The paint colors are more vibrant IMHO on the Limited Edition, it comes with an extra statue of the character Rakshas, and they are indivually ### with a total of 300 ever made.  If you are interested in it, please Personal Message me.  I must warn you though, it'll be more expensive than $219.  Exclusive statues and variants are extremeley rare and hard to obtain nowadays.

Also, just a quick update:

The Beherit has been SOLD so I no longer have it anymore.  Sorry!

How much for the glass case?  Also, do you have any pictures of the Griffith statues?

If you mean the glass case with everything inside of it, that I'm sorry is not for sale =P.  But the case itself I bought at Ikea for around $170.  Great buy!  They have a few other colors too.

As for pictures of the Griffith on Horse, I don't want to open it all up and remove it completely to display it (I want to preserve it), but here are some pictures of it that I've found on the web and on the art-of-war website:

Hope that helps!

Oh, I should mention that I have a 100%, 100+ positive feedback on ebay.  My ebay ID is "monito-boy" if you would like to check. =)

Hello fellow Berserk fans!  Over the past 3-4 years, I've been collecting the ART-OF-WAR completed model statues for Berserk, and through all the ebay wars, yahoo auction japan fees, hundreds of emails, thousands of dollars... I'm pretty much finally done... (well at least up to date =P).

This past month has been a notable one for me, as I recently got lucky and was able to stumble upon several of the really rare statues I've been trying to find for ages.  However, as you can imagine, buying these particular statues all in one month's time, took a HEAVY toll on my budget... so basically, it's time I sell some I don't need =P.

Please take note though, the main reason why I'm selling the statues listed below is because I recently purchased a limited/variant edition of the same statue from japan or somewhere else.  However, many of those statues have not shipped and arrived at my home yet (I should have all of them within the next 2-3 weeks) so I won't actaully charge/ship these statues out to you guys until I actually receive my new ones in hand (in case something horrible happens and I don't ever get the ones I'm waiting for).  But, I'm posting these statues up a little early because I don't know how long it will be before I get buyers for all of them, and if no one buys them here on skullknight, I will most likely post these up on ebay (which will take time for the auction to end).

So, think of it as a "pre-order" and PLEASE, if we make a deal, even though I won't make you pay until I'm about to ship the statues out, PLEASE don't just make a deal without strong intentions to pay.  That will just waste my time as well as someone else who might have wanted that statue.

Okay, now on to the statues...

The most rare and prized statue I'll be selling is the Griffith Millenium Falcon - Horse Riding EXCLUSIVE edition.  It's the one that has the gorgeous blue metallic tint, and that also comes with the extra character Rakshas.  This one was limited to 300 in production... which is SUPER RARE.

I'm also selling a Griffith Millenium Falcon - Horse Riding EXCLUSIVE edition statue WITHOUT the Rakshas character at a reduced price, for those that want the horse statue but don't care too much for Rakshas and would rather save some $$$.

Both statues have an individual ###, have never been displayed, and come in a beautiful metal-edged box.

I'm also selling the original Japanese release of the Black Swordsman.  Again, the statue has an individual ####, has never been displayed, and comes in a metal-edged box.  Since this statue was the first statue ART-OF-WAR made for Berserk (and still one of the BEST ones), it's getting harder to find everyday.  Don't lose your chance. =)

(the picture below is a pic of an OLDER one I used to own, but sold a year ago... just using for reference)

Another statue I'm selling is the Guts Millenium Falcon - Attack Form statue.  This statue is DAMN cool, and is one of the few ART-OF-WAR statues that actually have an action pose (Guts swinging his sword).  I've displayed this statue for about 2 weeks in a glass cabinet that protects from dust.  I wanted to see how it'll look next to other Berserk statues (looking at the scale, etc etc.)  The statue is in completely MINT condition and of course, is individually #### and comes in a metal edged box.

Lastly, I have the Guts - Hawk Soldier, and the Griffith - Hawk Soldier statues for sale as well.  Both have been displayed in the glass cabinet for about a year, but like I said, it's a dust free cabinet, and I get no sunlight in my room =P (trust me... I'm super pale!)  Both statues are the American release in perfect MINT condition.

And as a side item, I'm also selling a rare Beherit pendant that was NEVER sold in stores OR on the ART-OF-WAR website.  It was strictly a promotional item at anime conventions and for the release of the Berserk Dreamcast video game 3 years back.

So, that's it for now.  I'll probably have more to sell in the future but if you are interested in any of the statues above, please personal-message me which ones you are interested in and I will give you my asking price.  Some statues I'm flexible on, but others I'm not.  You can also instant message me.  I'm usually on at night (Pacific Time, USA time).  My screen name is: DirectDK .

By the way, I live in Northern California, USA, and I will ship internationally.

I'll accept paypal or money orders.

Please don't hesitate to ask questions.  Cheers!

Berserk Merchandise / Re: OUCH! $3,000.00 Guts on Horseback(Ebay)
« on: July 24, 2004, 04:07:32 PM »
Surely it's not the same one as this one, is it?

That's the model kit for the statue.  Same scale, but of course, it's unassembled and unpainted.  Animeplus has been sold out of that thing for years though.  That store should really remove the listing.  I guess they like bragging that they actaully once carried it =P.  I've seen that exact same model kit go on ebay/yahoo auction japan for $600+.

It's all a rarity thing.  The prepainted completed statue (the one on ebay) retailed for 31,290 yen, which is about $300.  But that was wayyy back in the day and since they didn't make too many (#300 I believe??), and since it was one of the first statues art-of-war made for Berserk, the value on that statue has gone WAYYY UP (as you can tell by the auction =P).

Did you pay that much for it? Oh and what a sweet arse room you have.

Thanks for the compliment on the room! =)  I really need to move to a bigger place though.  I literally have no more wallspace ANYWHERE.  I want to put up more posters and stuff but no room!  After I get out of college, hopefully I'll be able to.

Anyways, no I didn't pay that much.  I'll personal message you about the price because I've actually bought a few things from that seller on ebay before, and he's a really nice guy.  I don't want to spoil his auction by letting everyone here know how much I paid for mine.

Pity It cannot be seen closer, but it does look nice.

Here's 2 pics of mine =P, hehe.  i took the pictures the first and only time i've removed the statue from it's box.  i'm too scared too leave it out right now.  my apt is not big enough to put it anywhere.  like the seller said, it's on the same scale as the other statues (unlike the skull knight hose & the griffith mf horse).  the thing is 18 inches tall and 20+ diagonal.  maybe later when i move into a nicer place i can afford a cool case to put it in.

the color turned out really bad when i took the pictures so i just made the pic b&w.  stuff sometimes looks better in b&w anyways. =P  it's pretty much what i do whenver a pic i take turns out bad (which is often =P).

and if anyone like to know, AOW now will sale directly to US customers.... the only thing we need to pay extra is the $25 bank charge for them to received foreign wires......

this is GOOD news.  i wonder if we can order older berserk statues from them as well?  that would be awesome!  or even the limited edition statues too...

i think going this way just might be better than ebay and all the other ways we spend our hard-earned money on STATUES!!

heheh, yah, i asked him about that, he told me he meant to type Guts (the "a" is right next to the "s" on the keyboard).  he'll probably change it eventually =P.

he also told me if anyone wants the stencil just email him (i believe his email address is on the site)

And the 1gig was once you unrared it that was the size of the iso file.

Ahhh... IC, yah, I sorta thought 200 megs was a bit too small for the game, but I burned it on a DVDR nevertheless. =P

But yes, if someone knows how to read japanese, a translation of the controller screen would be nice.  Like exhumethecorpse, I figured out the controls but who knows what else we're missing.

Berserk Merchandise / Re:BERSERK Demo to be release in Japan!!!
« on: June 24, 2004, 03:29:32 AM »
It's the demo alright!

I just finished playing it!  Btw, it's not 1 gig, it's a little less than 200 megs (at least the one posted on bittorrent is).

It's great!  By holding L1 and pressing one of the 4 face buttons, you can use your canon, knifes, arrows, bombs (like the dreamcast one), and by holding L2 and then pressing one of the 4 face buttons, you can summon your friends (Serpico, Isihdoro, Puck, Scherik).  I thought that was a nifty addition.

The sword is uber fun to slice people with too.  There's a good deal of variation to the swinging of the sword... though I haven't figured it all out yet.  One thing is cool is somehow you can run up an enemy and then stab your sword down vertically through the neck through the body, and then you flip over.  IT'S AWESOME.

Well, I don't want to spoil anything else.  I'll let you guys experience it for yourselves.  I HOPE it comes out in the US, mostly because there's a lot of dialogue during the game and it'll be great to know what they are saying!
