Leaked unreleased Tokyo Game Show 2013 (or so the rumors say) gameplay trailer. This is where the gifs that were leaked a month ago came from.

I caught up with the Vizbig edition last month and waiting for the 12th Vizbig volume to come out is painful. As nice as the Vizbigs are, I'd wish I had gotten into this series when all the singles were available for purchase at an affordable price. I realize overtime that buying compendium/3-in-1 editions is not a good idea for series that are still on-going. Otherwise, you'll be waiting a longer time for the next volume to come out.

Speaking of singles, Viz has confirmed on their facebook page that they have no plans to reprint any of the early singles for it, so I'd advise anyone that planned on getting singles to get whatever you can before prices start skyrocketing from 3rd party sellers.

Inoue helps make record breaking sheet of Japanese paper and will use it as a canvas for an exhibition called "Gaudí x Takehiko Inoue - The Source of Synchronized Creativity"

Thanks , I love the idea, pity I'd have to learn japanese for that.
Here in Brazil, digital editions generally run for even higher the price of printed matter... For no reason at all.
If only Darkhorse would offer an english translation
Yes, a simulcast English translation like what Viz is doing with Weekly Shonen Jump Alpha would be nice.

Dark Souls is on sale for $6 on Steam. I will buy a copy for any member who doesn't have it already, and is committed to playing it.

Just post with your steam name and I will gift it to you today.
RSA92689 is my steam name. I've been meaning to get this ever since I've beaten Demon's Souls years ago .

I'm only still watching it just to make comparisons to the comics. It's the same reason why I even bothered to watch all the Berserk films. I'm curious to know what stays the same and all the changes to it.

How much of the story has been covered in the TV series compared to the comic? 20/ 30% ??

So far, the TV series loosely adapts up to issue 64, which is close to 50% if you ignore all the changes to it.

I was just about to update my post on that, but you beat me to it. So far, I can't find any other proof other than that same pic you posted. The walls do seem to match in pics, though.

Anyways, I added more pics of Femto that I found in the op.

update: The official twitter page for the Berserk films pretty much confirmed that the preview pic for the other God Hand members is real. Title thread and OP updated.

Berserk Miscellaneous / Re: A lack of Berserk - Dark Horse & DMP

Anybody able to report if Volume 30 is using higher quality print stock?

I did some digging  online recently after not getting a response on it from either rightstuf or one of the editors from Dark Horse. I believe this pic that I found on twitter proves that it did get reprinted in higher quality print. Notice how the size of the red circle in the reprinted edition matches the others unlike the first run? So there you have it to anyone that was on the fence on ordering a new copy to replace the old "test" run.

Looks like there might have been a delay with the reprint date. Dark Horse just finally announced the reprint themselves on their own site recently.

I really Really REALLY hope that volume 30 is reprinted with higher quality paper stock. That would be an instant buy for me.
That would be nice.  We can hope.

I just asked Michael Gombos, an employee of Dark Horse that posted the news about it on twitter, about reprinting volume 30 with higher quality paper. I'll respond on this thread or update this post if I get a response on it.

I wish it had been for Dead Space 1 and 2 alone. That it wasn't is an indictment of the thread and all of us in it. Still, all the ME games for $20! Game series of the decade.*

I have a spare origin key for Dead Space 1 from that humble bundle if you want it.

Did anyone here noticed the reappearance of Walt's pants from the first episode in last night's episode?

Ah well. It's a long, complicated series that I'm sure wasn't easy to translate. I was happy for the parts that I was able to see, roughly Eps 1-60 or so, I think. For the rest, I read synopsis, and that was enough.

It's too bad, because it's one of those incredibly niche series that would never be brought over to the states due to its obscurity.

Here's a poorly translated piece from the history books of the LoGH universe:

On the contrary, there is a group that did translate all the episodes of LoGH including the films and The Gaiden/Spiral Labyrinth. You can thank Heibi and his group, Central Anime, for that. :guts:

I still haven't watched the series myself, but it's been on my plan to watch list for a while now.
