Speculation Nation / Re: What to expect in Elfhelm
« on: November 21, 2015, 11:45:05 PM »
First of all thanks as always Aaz for this read  :ubik:, if you don't mind I'll question and post my thoughs about Casca, I know there is much more in the post but its the main focus point of the island and the one that I think everyone is more intrigued for.

I know it's been a long journey to Elfhelm and everyone hopes for a smooth transition for the group to improve in their understanding of the astral world meaning the Guts/Casca cure, the improvement of the skills with the elements or the addition or departure of some members of the crew. I hate to be a pesimistic but whenever I think of Elfhelm I always think in SK's words at the beach and my mind start making up scenarios where Guts can't find the way to be happy with Casca.

I know it's hard to say but, do you expect a full recovery of Casca's mindset pre-eclipse?

I can agree that it's pointless to carry with Casca for all this long to get her killed or something drastic. But what I feel it's that she'll recover all her consciousness and this will put her in a place of discomfort with Guts, sad feelings about the baby she was carrying, the lost of the Hawks, Griffith... changing Casca pre-eclipse to a new different Casca more blue and not the one we all hope to appear.
But I have to say that only the idea to get her leading Guts and the new guys as the old Casca make me feel euphoric :p.

Do you think a full recovered Casca would ask Guts to leave the seek for revenge against Griffith?

I know it's not very likely but its one question that I've imagined many times and the struggle about the Guts wanting to stay with Casca and the Beast of Darkness could generate some interesting outcomes and decisions.

I know only Miura know the near future of the series and questioning this random stuff its nonsense and we'll learn a lot of these soon, but I've to say I'm thrilled about what he has been preparing for this break period even I think about it in a darker way than most of you sorry  :beast:.

Last words, the only thing I'm sure it's that the art will be awesome and sorry for my englando.

I don't want to be discouraging but I think there will be at least 3/4 more episodes in Falconia and maybe a couple in the boat :ganishka:

I know its maybe too mainstream but just think the first segment were Casca's thoughts pre-eclipse and from the chorus were Guts post eclipse.

I knew this could fit

Thanks Aaz for the summary. I'm not sure if I want to leave Falconia episodes now, it's so interesting the future of the new potential group (Bakarika+Rickert) and if they'll cross their paths with Guts and company :ubik:.

Such a great episode, and its so nice to see the date for the next episode!!!! :ubik:

so many interesting things happened, the panel with Silat and that mountain like formation in the background looks interesting, probably somewhere back in the homeland...just nice to see different places in the world!

The way Silat and the Tapasa fought, they work so well together as a team

last month i thought Rakshas was gonna dodge that pillar but he infact DID get hit, it didn't do much to him though  :ganishka:

This is right after Rickert tell them about the sacrifices so maybe its where Rakshas sacrifice their people

Out of Fallout 4 confirmation, Dragonball Super releasing, Disturbed being back and a number of other fantastic news for the communities I'm part of, this has to be the best out of all of them.

And I'm referring just to a new episode being released. If anything close to a monthly schedule is realized even just for a few months, I'll cry.

Don't forget about the FFVII Remake

The start of the season as you said have been slow and with few hype content but that redhead that works with Vince Vaughn, don't you think he is a suspect for some past crime?

I've this song many times before, never got to know the name until now. Thanks!
Also, does post-eclipse mean his sprint? The song feels too light to fit it but maybe that's just me.
Not only his sprint I think what made me say that was the feeling that Guts is just trying to fix her during the following arcs just like the chorus.

Well tomorrow starts Hannibal's 3rd season just a reminder for those who watch it and a recommendation for those who don't :ubik:

I've read them and I found them interesting but they are quite heavy going. I can understand what show runners are doing with most of the characters mixing them with other ones from the book to get it smaller in the show, but what I can't stand is they are obsessed with finishing the show in 7 seasons when they could have easily slowed the pace while at least Martin finishes 6th book.

Okay...... been a while..... S-Slan maybe  :ganishka:
What a gold digger with the 80's beats XD
I know its maybe too mainstream but just think the first segment were Casca's thoughts pre-eclipse and from the chorus were Guts post eclipse.

It might be too much but in days of rereading with hours of Berserk I play this:

There are some coincides in timing that make the story perfect, not always but there are high chances for it XD.

Hey welcome to the forum, I'm quite new too but I have read your favourites and I agree in almost everyone XD. Keep reading the volumes and I recommend you Sympathy for Lady Vengeance (probably you have watched it), Cowboy Bebop (my personal favourite anime), Perfect Blue and Vagabond(manga) which I think almost everyone in this forum enjoy.

Have you seen Black lagoon: Roberta's Blood Trail? I didn't like too much BL:2nd Barrage so I skipped.

Very nice job I have to finish listening all but my favourites are really well covered.

Thank you for the reply Aazealh, I can understand better some of these facts but can you clarify or show me the differences  between the Farnese prophecy and the dream.

Speculation Nation / Current state of the White Falcon Prophecy

Hi everyone, first of all this is my first post so don't be too harsh to me please, I've read the manga for the first time recently and now I'm rereading it.

My intuition tells me that all the prophecy of the dream is misunderstood by the Midlanders and  Griffith :griffnotevil:/Femto :femto: seems to be the holy prophet that will save everyone and will fight in name of god,  but we can also see that some of the people who really knew old Griffith (Owen and Laban) aren't confident in Griffith true intentions.  We know the real true form of Griffith which turned from the ambitious leader of the Hawk Band to the returned to physical life and divine knight of the "light" Femto. So I can agree in the duality theory of Griffith being both the light and the dark sides of the dream/prophecy.

In the case of Guts :guts:, he has been called the blackswordsman since the eclipse and the Vatican (Farnese:farnese: and the Holy Iron Chain Knights) persuits him like he was the Devil but I think it's quite obvious now that his acts don't follow the path of darkness. I've read that he might be suffering a transformation since he wore the Berserk armour (First time his lock of hair turned white), and I'm not referring to his inside devil but to his change of mind prioritizing the protection of the weakness and struggling with his desire to revenge the Hawks.

I think I've read it somewhere but the theory of The Dark Knight is one of my favourites and this is the one that says tha Guts will be the hero Midland deserves, but not the one it needs right now. I don't know how to predict the near future of the series but I think is more likely that Guts becomes the real Light Hawk than Griffith represents both sides of the same coin.

Finally thanks for reading this, tell me if there are current topic discussing this and sorry for my bad English and I'm really expecting to read your opinions.
