Berserk Pachinko Machine Has New 3D Animated Scenes

A new Berserk-themed pachinko machine popped up in Japan last month, and this is some footage of the highlights of each achievement in the game.

It's all pretty hyper ridiculous, and at times I think it's probably the coolest piece of Berserk merchandise out there--a physical dragon slayer slides down over the screen to slash the BERSERK logo in half during dramatic moments, while a guitar screeches in the background, hair metal '80s style. Ya know, the kind of thing you'd expect from a Japanese arcade. It's amazing. I wish I could explain this better, but I have no experience with pachinko machines. Maybe someone else does?

It features new CG scenes intercut with clips of the old anime and some of the new one. I haven't watched the whole thing yet, but the Griffith mask glowing at the top with the bird screech sound at 00:26 made me lol

Of course the only way we're ever to experience these things is by visiting Japan, which I don't think I'll ever do. Still, it's nice the guy recorded (seemingly) all the scenes from the machine.

That's really not that expensive for such a device, I don't think. But no, I'm not willing to pony up any serious cash for such a thing. It's a pure novelty item.

This pachinko game made the jump to iPhone in Japan, and is now the #129 best-seller on the iTunes app store (http://hpchecker.jp/as/r/21).

I still have a special place in my heart for this utterly ridiculous item. And it's good to know Berserk is making some side money.

This entire thing...that machine...has to be, hands down, one of the craziest things I've ever seen in my entire life while being in this community.
Yet simultaneously, the most amazing.

I want one.

In all honesty though, I have never heard of such a thing before and I am simply amazed that such a machine exists for Berserk!
All of those flashing lights and colours racing up the sides...
...never in my life did I expect to see a neon Dragonslayer come crashing down across the screen of an arcade game, smashing the logo into two.

And yet, I'm somehow better off knowing that this exists.

Some new 3d illustration concerning the Pachinko game has been released.These are probably previews for an upcoming new pachinko game.
That first Picture of Guts reminds me alot of the painting from episode 308

Nice! Armor looks rad. But... is Guts' face really that hard to replicate?

I agree the armor looks great. I thinck Guts looks pretty good on the first picture, but not that great on the 2nd.
I guess many have a hard time doing a spot on face. The jaw and the nose imo are pretty much the most critic parts in re-creating a great face of Guts. The lips kinda look off too in the 2nd picture, but nonethless the helmet looks epic as hell

They really recreated quite a few scenes from the series. It's not extraordinary, but it's neat that they bothered with some of these things.

Who knows. It's the wilderness of YouTube. I do think there's a stigma surrounding pachinko in general though.

I don't have any strong feelings about it one way or the other. I just think it's neat that our little series is getting some rather hilarious, over-the-top animation for this.

It's pretty cool for what it is, but I think only big fans like us can appreciate its value, like the way those little scenes are rendered.

Great NEWS ! they bumped there website http://www.slot-berserk.jp/ . . . . . it's a bloody pachinko machine oh well. I don't keep up with anime trends and marketing besides berserk anyone els that keeps and eye on anime as a whole would this be a good sign for some new berserk anime/ova or even a game? or could this be pulling a konami and hoping to make a quick buck,.
