Thanks for posting your work, Serpico. First art post in a long time in this section! I was starting to think that critiques had chased you away. :-\ I hope that the occasional negative critique doesn't keep you or anyone else from posting. That would be a loss, indeed.

Anyway, Roshine looks really cute! It's a great drawing. I wish her coloring was a bit more luminescent, but that's just me being extremely picky. ;) Thanks! I hope you'll enter the art contest.

Luminescent is a good idea :) I'll have to figure out a good way to go about doing it, but I also think it will look better. I did not post anything in awhile mostly because I am busy. I have like 5 art trades I need to finish in the near future, thats why I don't know if i can enter.

These are some of the my fanarts made in over the last year or so mostly. In chronological order roughly starting with the oldest. The sizes are scaled down from the originals to cut load times. Critiques and thoughts or ideas are all fine.

Im starting work on modeling all Serpico and Farnese's gear, then eventually the characters themselves. I want to render some scenes (possibly animated) from the manga too so Ill model objects and locations over time. Havent used Maya in forever so I re-oriented myself a bit with a quick dragon slayer (took 30 min). Only the handle is textured at the moment.

random boredom sketching of an apostle Farnese, done fast and sloppy and there is no thought behind this other than I think she would use fire somehow lol. I'm sure she would really be a much prettier apostle.

Thanks, I have some more but probably nothing much worth posting except a Farnese and Caska pic i still need to color. I intend to make some better stuff in the future though.

Thanks, I'm open to drawing most of the characters really but if its just for me I tend to draw Farnese. I'll probably wait to improve on my anatomy and action stances befrore I try to tackle Guts again though.

Thank you, those are probably my favorites as well, except the last one i prefer if i ever clean it up. I will undoubtedly make more, but im slow about it. Currently Im tinkering in Maya trying to model some berserk items as well. Ahh, anyway I was thinking Farnese and Caska in night-wear lounging pigging out on ice cream and junk food hehe. Stuff just pops in my head, ill get to it eventually.

anyway.. I added my first berserk 3D model to the top post, just the DS so far. Soon I will be posting other stuff, mostly relating to Serpico or Farnese.

Nice job on the 3d stuff. The tip of the DS looks off though. Take a look at the manga and you'll see what I mean.

thanks for the support, Im still pretty noobish with textures, so i need to do some reading first if i want them to look good. Here is a couple attempts so far

thanks man, I need alot of practice with textures to get them the right shinyness and all that stuff, adding bump mapping so they look real, etc. For now here is my final render of the DS using a modified texture with some stains and wear added to get rid of the super clean fake look. Gonna work on a few other models. I did the textures in photoshop 7 if anyone is interested.
