Well, not their story, just images.
Judeau always gives me
poem, breeze, smile, understanding and grief.
although we couldn't see Judeau play music, I bet they are quite good match as well.

Void: ?? Not sure, but Hades doesn't fit...Hades in greek myth was only mean once and that was when he attacked Persephone...Charon maybe?
Slann: Hecate (That whole appearing at the pagan orgy did that in ^_~)
Remaining Godhand: The Furies (I know, they are women, but it fits the characters...)

very good comparisons... however comparing Icarus to Griffith is kind of a stretch. True they fly to high, but Icarus represents a kind of childish arrogance. Griffith is more cold and calculative.

Yes,Narumi You've done quite a good job(it is not easy, definitely) 8)
I like Charlotte-Helen and Slann- Hecate.
but Guts- Dionysus doesn't match quite well because Dionysus has very easy-going image and god of wine, play, and fecundity : in a word Dionysus not only reminds me of culture and art but also makes us feel sorta romantic or relaxed.
Could he be really compared to Guts? ???

but it is quite similar to Guts when Dionysus was wandering about for a long time. and considering two type-protagonists in literature, Guts surely belongs to Dionysus' type rather than Apollo's.
After all Dionysus got the triumph.Hopefully Guts can do so as well.

* Griffith-Icarus : Icarus symbolizes "an endless desire" or "dream-seeker" and he was a victim of excessively pursuing dream. So I link them. and I think also Theseus can be compared to Griffith for now. After Theseus killed Procrustes and Minotaur, he became king of Athens. but he left behind Ariadne who was Minos' daughter , the king of Crete,and Dionysus' wife later.
Wow, having said that, three characters-Dionysus(Guts according to narumi), Minotaur(Zodd, kenoh-sama) and Theseus(Griffith on my another comparison)- are similarly involved in the myth.

But other similaries...Both were born from a dead mother (unless you follow the belief that Dionysus was first born to Persephone then later reborn to Semele in which case Griffith would sound more like Dionysus) Both traveled and upon those travels were captured or faught. Most of the stories related to Dionysus in mythology are not happy ones.

And after thinking about it, I really hate my choice for Caska, she is more an Athena than a Hera...

Farneese is a brand name of French Wine and an old noble name. not sure if you've known it already or not. I love wine more than any other liquor but i can't find that wine in this country.

mmm...Hercules was a berserker himself and in berserk rage he did kill first his centaur mentor and later his own wife and sons (no this was not shown in the tv show ) the others leave me with some doubts
