I got the news from rightstuf.com and it is being released by media blasters.

Yeah. I saw the ad in the latest issue of Animerica. As usual I'll wait to the whole thing is out and buy the box set. I'm in no rush to get it. I've made so many copies for people over the years I've pretty much know the damn thing by heart! Seeing again recently makes me even more angry that some details (and a certain skulled theme knight) weren't in the series!!! >:( >:(

I hope it keeps that cool "Forces" version of the opening as an extra feature!

Now the other US distributers will turn green with envy. Hahaha. Then again Media-Blasters DID pay alot for the rights.

More than they should have from what I hear. Now, as long as they promote it fully as any other company would then they can begin to see some profit. Thank FUCKING GOD Manga Entertainment didn't get the rights :) ;D!!

They would have promoted it as pure violence like they did Hokuto No Ken! >:( Media Blaster could have a big time hit on their hands if they can promote it properly!

Wow, I haven't read AoDVD in a lonnnng time. I suppose I got sick of hearing Chris rave about atrociously bad anime and how it looks good on his HDTV (Card Captor Sakura on HDTV...I mean, WTF). I imagine I'll actually buy this DVD, especially since it's got 5 episodes, and hopefully will have some extras. I'm only interested in extras that may add to the story (e.g. The inclusion of cut parts such as the SkullKnight and explaining that Rickert is alive after the apostle attack in 22).
And yes, Forces music video would be nice :)

I think I'm just gonna pick up the Hong Kong version boxed set. IT's cheaper, and I really don't care about extras or an english dub. As long as I have good english subs I'm happy.
