Berserk on a motion picture?!?!?

Please be gentle, I am a virgin. I love this topic, I want this made. Mr. Miura is a fan of Tim Burton. Get Mr. Miura to do the script. Guts is Jackman or Bale or the American Voice actor beefed up. Griffith is Jude Law. Halle Berry is Cosca. Lets do it so its not in Guts' head so it will make cutting easier (alot less flashbacks...dreams etc...) Maybe three movies...Hopefully two. Real fans wouldn't mind if it is the will of the creator. Lets ask him. Then give our suggestions. Yes? Please...I have visions of this. This obsession worries me...I don't have anywhere to turn.

Punisher was a trash movie and so was the guy who played him.

If my good friend fray buffed up a bit he would make the perfect guts.

A Berserk Movie would be awsome of course they would have to make it like FF7 advent children to avoid the cheaasy american actors, but that would make it all the cooler in my opinion, lol

I don't see it as a completely CG movie although I am looking forward to Advent Children just because it is final fantasy, though. Not all american actors are cheesy, man. Fray is quite yiffie, tell him to get himself ultra buff!

Tim Burton would Tim Burtonify the Berserk universe, no thanks. Get John Milius. He'll do it right.

Robert Rodriguez. He could co-direct with Miura and use the manga for storyboards, like he did for a film based on another popular graphic novel. ;)

And he just says that he likes Burton's movies as well as Sam Raimi's, but that his favorite is the original Star Wars trilogy. The emphasis is put on Raimi, not Burton (I like Dark Man too, no wonder Miura's a genius), so don't exaggerate about this...

Even so, liking a director's movies doesn't mean you'd choose him to direct your own, especially if he must have them take place in his own universe and atmosphere, thus denaturing the original work. Don't hesitate to send that postcard though.

I'm not sure I should post in this thread anyway, given that all the choices equally repulse me.

Tom jane would be a good guts, i mean a beserk movie trilogy would be awesome but think about it... i couldnt see any 1 in hollywood picking it up would be waaaaaaay to diffucult to make, and even if it did get made with censorship these days imagine all the stuff that would get butchered out. I could really see a whole cinema full of american every day john smith sitting there and watching the eclipse. " Say hank why did that big fella stick his sharp penis into that girl before she was raped by those other demons who had just slaughtered those fifty or so people?" or " Say Fred why did the horse try to rape that girl?" lol, dont get me wrong im not damning it, i would LOVE to see a movie its just i dont think anyone would pick it up.

Tom Jane would be too old. I was going to go for someone younger and maybe an unknown for the lead (how's about that guy who played as Colossus from X2?. A trilogy is not what i would go for when it should be more since there's still more stories to tell of Guts. I would probably have it shot like three movies back to back like LOTR.

Well for those who have seen hellboy, i think the dude who played Hellboy would be perfect for either the human form of Zodd or mabye Guts!!

His name is Ron Perlman (http://us.imdb.com/name/nm0000579/). He's one of my favourite actors, but I just don't see him as Zodd or Guts. Maybe he could be Wyald, since he's got the Neanderthal look down (ever see Quest For Fire?). :D

Wow, i didn't even recognise him, ive seen blade 2 like 5 times and i never would have guessed that dude could play hellboy, i mean he isn't really that big, well that was until he played hellboy, Val Kilmor would make a good king, he did an excellent job as the king in Alexander.
