As a Resident Evil fan and a Wii owner I feel I need to make a thread on this game. When it was first announced I didn't think much of it but as time went by it started to look better and better and now I can't wait to get it.
For those that haven't heard of it, it's an on-rail shooter à la The House of the Dead in which the details behind the fall of Umbrella Corp. will be revealed. You'll play through levels set during RE0, RE1, RE2 and RE3, plus the obligatory new areas and events taking place between RE3 and RE4. The game will be compatible with the Wii Zapper, an accessory combining the Wiimote and Nunchuk into a single rifle-like device, and a bundle is already planned (while we're on that topic, the Wii Zapper by itself will be sold $19.90 with a small game called Zelda: Crossbow Training).
I could talk more about it but I'll just say that it seems Capcom's aim is to please the fans as much as possible with this game, and that it's already considered by all those who've tried it to be far above the other rail shooter spin-offs they released in the past.
